Core Beliefs

Operation Leaven

To preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, the conquering King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, to military members and to facilitate fellowship among them IOT advance the kingdom of God and embolden the resolve of believers who bear the responsibility of the lesser magistrate office.

God:

There is one self-existent, eternally existing Holy God who is of one essence and of three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. He is the creator of all that exists, both visible and invisible, and is infinite in being and in perfection.  God is perfect in truth, love, power, holiness, goodness, knowledge, wisdom, justice, and mercy. He works all things according to His Good, unchangeable will. To which He has decreed all that occurs without being subject to anything outside Himself. God is perfectly just and therefore hating all sin and will not clear the guilty.

Scripture:

God has revealed himself to us physically through his son, Jesus Christ, who is the visible image of the invisible God. God has revealed Himself through the holy scriptures, and through all creation itself. All of Scripture is God-breathed and is the authoritative Word of God. The Scriptures are the only sufficient, infallible, and clear standard for all life and saving faith.

Humanity :

Humans, both male and female, were made in the image of God. Adam and Eve were the first humans who were created without sin. They were appointed by God to be caretakers of creation and to take dominion over it.

The Fall:

Upon the disobedience of Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden, they fell out of communion with God. As a consequence, all humanity was estranged from God and, thus, corrupted.

Salvation:

Jesus Christ as fully God and fully man came to reconcile us to God. He was born of a virgin, lived a life without sin, and submitted Himself to the Fathers will upon the cross. Jesus Christ was the perfect sacrifice. He was raised from the dead on the third day, and He ascended into heaven. Therefore, salvation is by grace through faith in Christ alone.

The Church

The Church represents the visible body of Christ on earth. The church is to worship and glorify God and to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe that the church communes for worship, discipleship, ministry, fellowship, and evangelism.

Resurrection:

Jesus Christ is going to return to judge both the living and the dead, and then usher in the restored fullness of God’s Kingdom on earth.
